Integrated ISO Systems in Pest Control
Adams Pest Control added ISO 14001, ISO 22,000 (food safety) and occupational health and safety to their existing ISO 9001 quality system. Adams has been a family owned business for over 60 years priding itself on being large enough to adapt to continual change whilst small enough to quickly respond to the client's changing requirements.
They had an ISO 9001 management system since 1996, which was a first in the pest control industry in Australia. As part of their continual improvement process they reviewed their customers' needs, regulatory and staff requirements and even their broader impact on the environment. They decided to move to an integrated approach and worked with Jean Cannon to add ISO 14001 and ISO 22000 (HACCP) and fully integrate their existing occupational health and safety policies so that they had only one management system. HACCP was added to ensure that they consider potential impact of their pest control operations on their food business clients.
Complete Pest Control was established in 1988, and is a family owned and operated business, is a South Australian industry leader having served thousands of households and businesses across both metropolitan and country South Australia. The company provides construction, pest management and commercial food businesses.
Termite Free Naturally - The name says it all. This company specialised in preventing termites from reaching your house and destroys the termites at their nest. They ask the question "Why Choose Termite Baiting instead of Chemicals for Termite Treatment?" and Protect Your Home - by eliminating termite colonies.
A Queen termite will live for up to 70 years and breeds all the termites in the colony apart from her partner with whom she reproduces. Once the queen dies other female reproductive termites take over and the colony goes in 30 year cycles and the older the colony the more damage it will do as the nest gets larger. By eliminating termite colonies you are taking the pressure off your house and getting rid of your termite problem.
Chemical Barriers will not kill termite colonies – they will just control termites by keeping them at bay until the chemicals wear off.
